Who are we?
The Community Council works hand-in-hand with the Community Board, Business Association, Community School and the Urban Farm. We help present a united voice in dealings with the local governments and other neighborhood-based organizations city-wide. We do our part to make this little part of the world a better place to live, to work and to play.
Meetings
The Camp Washington Community Council meets every second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm at 1201 Stock Avenue (the former Rec Center, next to the pool). Come and find out what’s happening in the neighborhood. Crime and fire reports are provided. We offer a structured, open forum for residents, businesses, guests, candidates. Meetings usually last about an hour.
Note: During the pandemic all meetings will be held on Zoom.

The Camp Washington GATEWAY
The Garden Club, led by Mimi Rook, revamped the landscape area at the Gateway at Hopple & Garrard. Boulders from the former Kahn’s site donated by Matt Lafkas really enhance the plantings. Meyer Tool has paved the parking lot behind the Gateway sculpture, and, installed a beautiful metal fence. Plantings around the fence will finish the project. Gateway installed by United-Maier Signs through a grant form the City.
